How It Started / How It Is Going meme template
Contrast a modest beginning with its unexpected present day result. Separate how it started from how it is going in the labeled caption spaces.
Use the how it started how it is going meme layout to contrast an innocent beginning with a very different present day situation. A seedling at the left and an unruly geometric plant at the right give the two halves a visible story before captions appear. The gap can represent progress, obsession, escalation, or a complete reversal. Both captions should describe the same subject at different points in its history. A specific initial promise makes an exaggerated later result easier to recognize. Keep the time jump implied by the two headings instead of explaining every event that happened between them.
